Classic Pizzazz, North Central Washington's well known musical trio, performs throughout the area both in concert and for special events. The trio has been together for over 10 years. Separately, each is a strong musician and together they blend their sounds and interpretations into a delightful musical whole. Kathryn Castrodale, pianist and music arranger, Lori Laughlin, oboist and vocalist, and Kerry Travers, violinist, are all active musicians. Each has a private music studio in the Chelan valley and they perform separately and together throughout the region.

Kerry Travers, violinist, has a B.A. from California State University at Sacramento. She has been an active musician and teacher for 20 years, specializing in the Suzuki Method. Kerry has taught at workshops and institutes across the state of Washington. She has a special interest in body mechanics and is currently a trainee of Andover Educators. Kerry taught her four children; two are currently professional violinists.

Lori Laughlin, oboist and vocalist obtained her B.A. in Music Education from the University of Washington. While studying with Laila Storch and Alex Klein, Lori set up a private oboe studio in Puyallup, Washington and currently teaches in Chelan and Wenatchee. She is active in several different orchestral and vocal groups. Lori performs as a vocal soloist with the Trio as well as for various church and community events. She is active as a church musical program director and musician.

Kathryn Castrodale, pianist, has a B.A. in Music from Willamette University and a Master of Music from the University of Oregon. She has performed extensively as a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist and jazz pianist. Kathryn has been musical director for over 15 musicals in Lake Chelan and Omak. She just finished writing the music for a children’s musical. She is also the music arranger for the trio. She presently operates an active piano studio in Chelan
